This might have already been discussed but I just listened to the post game presser from HCBV this morning and what stood out to me what him talking about cutting off all "insidious behavior." I think if there is one thing that defined TBOW's career as a HC here is that he was the coach that BV was talking about not wanting to be. TBOW didn't want to be the bad guy so he let the insidious behavior fester in his program and nullify all of his success with arrests and players not being disciplined. I think we have already seen that the majority of players do not want the insidious behavior either and want that accountability. Glad to have that no nonsense coach back.
You ever been in a meeting/on a call and the presenter beats a metaphor to death? Like nothing left but a red mist? This guy just used the words "wolf" and "wolfpack" at least 100 times.
Honestly, it kind of makes sense for an NIL to just give the kid a huge and flashy type thing because it can be used as a recruiting tactic that doesn't technically violate the whole thing about how the NIL isn't supposed to be used to sway recruits (as if that's not happening anyway).
I saw that TBOW came out with a Players Tribune article on his why of leaving. It was basically the same thing he did all season. Look at the games I won for you. Using words like "blowing out OSU" "dominating TCU" "dismantling Florida" like we should all be impressed with what he did. He really NEEDS TO be liked by OU so bad. Maybe that will ultimately be his downfall. He will try so hard to be justified with Sooner Nation and will be distracted that all of his seasons at USC will be like his last at OU. Me thinks he is jealous of HCBV...
