Goodness. Never see the caravan sell out early in Tulsa. I was thinking of going, but did not hurry to sign up. You more forward thinking guys will have to report for me since I delayed!
I'm excited for Barnes. He reminds me of DeMarco. That's probably why he recruited him lol
DM had a different level of cutting ability...Barnes looks really good and had good film but man DM was on a different level..especially pre knee injury...one of my favs of him is his redshirt freshman year against texsa when he hurdles a guy and burns texsa fastest guy in a footrace to the end zone...Barnes looks more physical like Murray post knee injury and hopefully he turns out anywhere close to DMs production.. We also have the higher rated speedster coming in June as well. Murray is stocking that room up nice
I think we can do with a few more Oklahoma kids on the roster. I'd rather our coaches look for players rather than *s. Even if you don't end up taking some of these OK kids, having a good relationship with the OK HS coaches will pay dividends down the road.

I suspect there will be fewer flips than in years past. Based on what he's said, BV won't take a commitment unless the player shuts down his recruitment. I think LR wanted the buzz and so would take a commitment made in the heat of the moment. He sure seemed to have more than a normal number of flips.

Agree on the flips. I think the commits will be as solid as can be expected in today’s environment. I worry more about flops but we can trust this staff to do better homework.

He absolutely could be traded for a draft choice or something. Problem is all those millions somebody would have to pay him. Guys on the radio today said so far only about a 5th round pick had been mentioned as an offer for him.

i would say that's a real possibility... but, like you, i don't pay much attention to the current state of the nfl so i don't know who needs what
