Yes, it would be interesting to go look at the grades from the draft 5 years ago or so.
I can speak for the Chiefs. I've found that their draft grades have been pretty consistently accurate...largely because they tend to not have many high round picks and thus run the risk of the massive flame out. Even when they have selected high, they haven't taken too many "flashy" names and always been dinged on the initial ratings. This year they got an A+ from many services/experts. I doubt it ends up being an A+ after 5 years, but I think it can't be much worse than a B.
What are we doing here? I hate these camps. This is a hold all day long. On the edge this will be seen an flagged. Keep your hands inside, big guy. You cannot have a hand on the chest and on the back...just won't fly. But these camps celebrate this nonsense and promote it as "aggression." It is aggression, but it is dumb and will continue the crap penalties we've seen over the past few years. Please start training the kids correctly and promoting smart play and good technique.
And before I get attacked for being negative, the kid has violent hands and really good feet. It's his desire to try and get a pancake from every position that just isn't prudent. Not everything has to end with your guy on the ground, if it can't happen without a flag.
Another one of those what was Grinch and LR thinking? Everything I ever heard about him said he would make a decent Corner so we put him at Nickle where he got to cover TE's at 5'9".
