I was really impressed with this team from this game and the Ark Pine Bluff game. Ark Pine Bluff took TCU to the wire and was very athletic. UNCW out rebounded North Carolina. I love the depth that we have, and the guys off the bench played very well and we were always fresh. Our defense was mostly non-stop. Offense was constantly moving, and we were hitting shots. This team is going to be fun.

good to hear, i haven't had a chance to watch them yet- looking forward to seeing Moser improve the team from last year and it sounds like they've got some potential.

Everybody is better. Tanner Groves is leaner, stronger, and moves better. Jacob Groves is playing much better defense and is quicker Jalen Hill's shot has improved Grant Sheffield has a really nice shot, and can drive and hit the mid range shots CJ Noland seems to be shooting better Freshman Uzan is already competent and contributing. Freshman Oweh is strong to the basket Tranfer Bamisle is athletic and a scorer Transfer Godwin is always in the right place, and has tools Cortez, he's been out a while, but hopefully has improved Yaya Keita- still adjusting, but hit a 3 against Ark PB Benny Schröder - young Luke Northweather - nothing yet on the court

Jacob Groves saved our asses last night. Hit the BIG 3 to put us up, and blocked a dunk from behind to keep the lead in the last seconds. Thank you Jacob. Tanner had a great game except horrible from the 3 point line. Sherfield had a very nice game. Several nice back door plays by several. Uzan has hit every 3 he has taken. (2) and just at the right time. South Alabama has 2 future NBA players.

My thoughts on the game:
Uzan started! wow. He evidently beat out CJ for the starting spot. Milos played great. Was one of the only players making shots in the first half.
We were SO cold shooting in the first half, it was probably our worst shooting half this year. Defense was playing hard, and energy was good on offense, but it was slightly off with timing, and KC plays hard. Uzan played great at both ends and made some shots. Cortez is extremely quick on defense, and makes good creative assist on offense. Shooting was off some what. Tanner played great. Was a force no matter what end he was playing.
Jacob was cold cold cold. Anomaly for him. Godwin is so good coming off the bench. Never makes a mistake. Quick around the basket. Always gets a hand on the ball. Sherfield was cold in first half and few looks. Started smoking the in the 2nd half. Smoooooooooooth. Bamisile keeps making boner plays. Lazy eyes or bonehead moves. He's very athletic but NEEDS TO think about the team and not himself. CJ virtually did nothing this game. Just wasn't his day.
Jalen Hill is mister steady. Even with that broken nose he still manages to get good position around the rim. He did pass up open 3s that he should have taken. We cleared the bench the last 2 minutes so everyone got some court time. Not a pretty game, but a good W to build upon.
