Looks like Wanya Morris locked up the starting LT spot in Kansas City...just in time for their worst season in over a decade.
Wrs cost three games Otherwise we're 11-2 right now. KC being cheap with the money and not paying a quality wr...
More like being held hostage by Jones and Thuney contracts. This year they cut Toney, Moore, Hardman, and James. They walk from MVS and Donald Smith (Wanya is the LT), restructure Jawaan Taylor (he NEEDS TO take a big hit to prove he'll fix his issues), Thuney, and Mahomes. I think they will trade Jones. Suddenly they could be looking at tens of millions in cap space to fix that WR room. Before they do that they NEED to fire Nagy and replace him with an OC from the outside to bring some new ideas, fire the WR coach and hire an experienced veteran WR coach, and change up their pass game philosophy to get away from the improv routes and go back to more designed concepts that demand people do X, Y, and Z to take away the confusion.
The big issue is they've been up against the cap since Veach took over. Drastic steps are required to alleviate that issue. I think this year Mahomes might well demand it of Reid and Veach because it is an abject disaster.
Just NEED to brag a bit. My boy has now received awards for two separate 3A All-State teams. For a kid who fought to survive his Sophomore and Junior year just to SURVIVE varsity football, words cannot express how proud I am of how he dominate the game his Senior year, at 220ish pounds playing Center. He was going to two workout sessions per day hosted by our HFC all last winter and spring. Fought through torn UCL that probably should have been surgically repaired, and did so without complaint. I wish he was more athletic because with his work ethic, he could turn into a decent long snapper/TE for some lower level college. Alas, he's slower than molasses running uphill in January in Iceland. LOL
Losing Green should be the nail in the coffin for BB.Β Fire him already.
The OL has been just a revolving door of bodies the past several years. Relying upon transfer after transfer. Underperforming player after player. Guys hit the door as soon as they can.
The sky is officially falling in Norman. BB has made a wreck of this offensive line. He has whiffed time and again in recruiting and failed to develop ANY of his own talent for years. The ONE he got right in recruiting just bailed after starting 7 games as FRESHMAN. Fire BB. There is NO WAY he will be able to put together a functional OL in the SEC with a 98% overhaul. This is trash. FIRE HIM.
2) This is tampering (most likely Mizzou) and you won't convince me otherwise
3) Fire BB
I agree - I think BB has past his shelf live in this day and age. We NEED someone who can get good warm bodies to stay on the line instead of this musical chairs every stinking year at OL. That is the one position that MUST remain as consistent as possible an it is the one position that is ROUTINELY inconsistent under BB.

Very proud for both of you. Him for having learned the lesson that life is not always fair but the outcome is up to you and you for seeing as a dad that some of the things you try to teach actually took.
