been in the works for awhile from what i'd heard- thinking he's a PWO with some experience- traded beville for him and opened up a scholly so i think we came out ahead on this one
Psalm 34:14: "Depart from evil, do good, seek peace, and pursue it."
"what deliverer could break the power of Pharaoh?"

That's what I've been reading for a while. He really wants to end his time as a Sooner and said he would come as a PWO. Think it's a good backup plan as far as an experience backup and dang sure is better than Beville. Having the freshman QBs we recruited coming in is good, but they have no experience.

Should help us keep redshirts on the true freshmen, unless they are just unbelievably good.
Seeing a bunch of crying about adding Casey Thompson. I don't understand that. Trading Davis Beville, a guy who couldn't throw a forward pass, for a guy like Thompson, who has had success as a P5/G5 starter, is a no-brainer. Having a one-year backup with a TON of experience can only be a good thing. I don't get why there is so much racket about this move.
This chart is impressive. This chart is also what OU NEEDS TO be able to achieve with their front 4. Those who win with 4, quickly, are those who win ships. Now, this chart does not explicitly say these teams won with 4, but if the 4 weren't soul takers the blitzes wouldn't be so effective so quickly either.
