I'm REALLY trying to get pumped up for team 130. That bowl loss (and the abortion at OSU) really wrecked my opinion of this roster and this staff. I'm trying, but man...
Bob Stoops segment on The Rush (they replayed Friday's segment yesterday) said that he sees College Football becoming more a pro model with salary caps, a commissioner, etc. I think that is the logical solution to the current NIL/Portal issues that are ruining the sport. Bob and Saban for co-commissioners.
I think he can be. I have no faith that BB will have a competent unit from the jump. Another wait-eight-weeks-and-see season upcoming.
I hope the year won't be a total bust for you SCKS, and hope that at least you can find a couple of Sooner Concession items that you like. Hahahahaha
Not Bud Light, that's for sure. LOL
I have such a bad attitude toward the program right now. I just NEED to see them play well, consistently. Last season was gross and ended horribly. Until I see real, solid, consistent play, my attitude will likely not enter "rosy" territory.
I am fully aware that I am likely overly pessimistic. I get that. I just NEED the program to PROVE it is a serious program and that they can fix nagging issues before giving them my full trust.

All the players opting out of the bowl game pissed me off. We NEED a policy that final pay-outs from NILs come after the completion of the season. Football needs the financial incentive to make the players want to see it through till the end.
Rhett Bomar...what a flop. He was supposed to be SO GOOD.
Think his dad was the PR rep for him if that tells you any thing. Not showing up for his "job" at the dealership ended him at OU. Saw him play on TV Thursday night a couple of times when Thursday night was the class B games showing division 2 schools. He wasn't impressive at all.
