2007, when the big 12 was really good and the SEC not King Kong, an OU RS Freshman would have brought OU to a 1-loss or no-loss season except for one injury game and a fumbled punt, not by him. The Sooners NEED to play well, focused, and tough. Since LUCK is a factor, OU just needs a little of that in two or three games and the 2024 team can be as good or better than that 2007 team. THAT QB was not the problem.
Hopefully won't have a big defensive lineman standing there as a key blocker and just waving at a guy who blocks the kick.
Hopefully when we are punting to pin the other team deep, our guys won't follow the receiver trying to act like he's running up to catch it and let the ball roll into the end zone.
