This Saturday will be very interesting offensively. I could see us putting things together thanks to the OL continuity and Hawkins gaining more experience. I could also see Littrell calling a god-awful game and having penalties nullify big plays. What we NEED is for Seth to get out of his own way and for the guys to be more disciplined. Use Bauer Sharp extensively in the passing game and minimally as a blocker. Use designed QB runs because God knows we NEED the extra blocker. Keep decision-making simple for Hawk. Don’t get too cute and do something stupid. A punt is better than a turnover. And for Pete’s sake, NO TEMPO.
This game has cost coordinators their jobs. Could be a big game for Seth.

Well, my Royals just weren't good enough. Not ready for the big time yet. I told myself that I was happy if they were competitive with the Yanks...which they were. Still doesn't take the sting out of the loss. They went from 106 losses to going four games in the ALDS. Add a few arms and acquire a real corner outfielder and 3B and they should be good to go. Also, everyone NEEDS TO improve their approach at the plate so they can consistently hit better. Still, what a turnaround.
Kind of what I want from OU on Saturday; just compete, be in the game, and play well. If the other team is better, so be it. Still doesn't mean I won't be pissed. LOL
