New Staff and Analyst Positions

Enough to live on varies by the inividual, does it not?!

I'd assume these positions pay a decent wage, and probably more than you'd think.  I'll see if I can find any data.

What I like about these hires is they are bringing in guys that went to the pros and guys that didn't. Guys like Caleb Kelly and J Criddell can give some of these guys perspective about how things don't always go to plan and what's needed in those situations.

Yeah, good to have a diverse staff that both loves OU and knows what it takes to get to the NFL.  Maybe these types of staff hires can prevent some guys from getting frustrated and leaving the program prematurely.  From my perspective, it seems things tend to work out better if the athletes trust the process and coaches, put their head down and work through adversity.  Maybe they aren't starting by year 2, but that doesn't mean they still can't develop and make it to the NFL.  Too many elite athletes are looking for instant gratification, i.e. a starting position or NIL money, instead of doing what it takes to be great.

You wonder how much someone like Loadholt will make. Looks like he made ca 30mil during his pro career. If he did any kind of investing he doesn't NEED a big salary. I suspect in a case like him, we are offering a reasonable salary and an opportunity to get into coaching.

Exactly.  The guy has the credibility to tell a young athlete they can't put all of their eggs in the NFL basket.  

I've heard concussions.

Good place for all new additions to staff, etc..
