Man, when does he get his chance to show he's reformed? Or is he on the permanent blackball list?
If you traced the guy back to his days as a HS Coach at Stephenville, you may seriously question his ability to reform. I officed with the local phone company, back in those times. He is brilliant and charasmatic, while showing an amazing ability to push the envelope in a way that causes serious pause to whether he really has real boundries. He has only sort of admitted that things may have gotten past him, sort of saying he was just so dogon busy.
Based on Baylor management knowing it was bad enough that they demanded a unprecedented for that type of issue verbal report only And based on the communication from the girls families that have not taken the huge amounts of money, and based on other staff members statements, before they were paid off, I can't imagine anyone with a daughter or grandaughter that would say . . . just give him a chance to see if he is reformed.
Last I heard, there was still the dad in San Antonio who has not taken the money for his daughter. His daughter has gone through extensive phsychological issues and the first time the Baylor lawyers came to the country club to speak with him, he physically beat them all the way back to their car. He has made the statement, we will get our money regardless. But remember that Baylor has a law school and strategicly placed judges all across texsa. And, texsa has one of the strongest judge states, in the country. They control all the federal, state and local funding for that county. In fact the time it happened, all the information was put in a Sheriff's drawer, to kill it, until a non-Waco news group broke the story. I understand girls and families who just wanted it to be over. Maybe with some extensive phsychological evaluations from a trusted third party, there may be a chance to see if he has reformed. But, not on the job.
Of course there will always be the ends-justifies-the-means people who are willing to risk it for the wins.
