Loved it when the one dude punched him. That's definitely my reaction. My brother and I lived on the second floor of a little apartment complex, and one night real late, I was coming home and our stoop was really dark. I went to the door and he came in from behind me, trying to scare me. My first and only reaction was to start pummeling him and I didn't stop until he yelled out that it was him.
Not sure how many of you have watched the players interviews on youtube, but the excitement in their voices, the smiles on their faces, and enthusiasm as they talk about practice is noticeably different than in years past. They're worth watching.
I am a little surprised that only 31 football players made 3.0 or higher. With tutors and some involved in softer courses than engineering or physics, I would expect half or more.
Congratulations to those that did make the list. I hope more make the next list.

I'm not sure how many of the 31 are out of. I'm assuming it's for the fall semester since the spring semester isn't over. I'd assume the transfers aren't eligible. Then some of those declaring for the Draft probably aren't still around. I also don't know if walkoons are eligible. So you could be looking at 31 out of sixty. WHich isn't nearly as bad.

Bob,
The list is at the end of the video. Included on the list are; Kanak, Gabriel, Laulu, and Mettauer. I too have no knowledge of the total set of players from which the 31 qualified, but it MAY be based on mid-term grades since Kanak et al were clearly not at OU in the fall. If that is the case, I will cheer for many more to have excellent final exams.

As these guys buy into BVs plan, and SOUL Mission, we should see that number increase.

OK, that's different than what I postulated. I do know that when they post team GPA they are usually around 3.0. Given that being a football player is the equivalent to a full time job, it's not surprising that a lot are under three. I probably worked an average of 25hrs/week most of my time in school. I was a good student coming in, but I often had trouble keeping the grades up because of just not having enough hours to spend on study.
