Last year on another board I tried to tell people BV inherited a mess. Also that in CFB history, most first year HCs struggle (Smart 7-5 Pete Carroll 6-6).
I pointed out that the depth and defensive talent BV was given was not optimum and their inability to learn the new system and transfer it from practice to game day (BV's claim) was an issue.
We all saw some first year coaching mistakes too, (Should be expected), hell, Andy Reid still makes 1 every other game or so.
BV saw the talent and Football IQ was not there and has changed the roster as much as he can in a year. Are we at the level we should be for a natty? Not enough time to develop at that level yet. 2023 should yield improvement and it should be evident in winning the close games unlike in 2022. I don't know what is gonna happen but to continually bring up 2022 as if it was just BV and the staff that caused that 6-7 year is short-sighted.

You were correct. As time passes, and more and more is evident, we are getting a bigger picture of the crumbling system that TBOW "built". Speed D was a joke. It is now a good thing that TBOW's wife was banging somebody in the Athletic Department because it forced his hand to move away, and spared us from a total destruction of the program. (although the damage had already been done)
